<p>I have a very powerful video, and message I want to share with you today.</p>
<p>Its call &#8221; The Power of WHY&#8221;.  This concept was introduced to me by someone who has had an enormous infuence on my life. Mr Jay Kubassek.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">I originally stumbled across this video on Jays blog a few months back.  The concepts in this video, are so simple yet so profound. I was immediately intrigued by this concept and approach the moment I seen this video&#8230; but with the hustle and bustle of daily work and traveling,  I must admit that it fell by the wayside. Hey I&#8217;m only human too alright&#8230; for now&#8230;?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Today on a leadership mastermind call with Jay,  he brought up Mr. Simon Sinek and this very video.  This concept, this message impacted Jay and his business so much hat Jay took it upon himself to reach out to Simon.  He actually met with him yesterday for the first time. You see this concept, was EXACTLY how Jay had built his multi million dollar empire&#8230; whether up until this point he realized it or not,  im not sure lol. I&#8217;ll ask him at the next 10 for 10 mastermind.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Simon Sinek was the first man to finally conceptualize these ideas, and break them down for the business world to see.   Even how biologically we are conditioned to act and respond in this way. Its clear that these were the same concepts, the same strategic approach that Jay took when building the CarbonCopyPRO community. Its grew to become a community, because of the tens of thousands of people who shared Jays vision. Who were on the same frequency with Jay&#8217;s WHY and wanted to be a part of what he created.  Not for him,  but for themselves&#8230;.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://www.best-home-business-model.com/wp-content/uploads/zappos.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-1203" title="zappos" src="http://www.best-home-business-model.com/wp-content/uploads/zappos.jpg" alt="" width="337" height="150" /></a>There is nothing more important in marketing or the business then your WHY.  nothing.  Every business,  I don;t care what industry you are apart of,  at the heart of it,  is a relationship business. And the relationship you build with your customers is ultimately going to determine your level of financial success.  The company Zappos is another perfect example of this.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A turning point for Zappos was when the company decided to be about more  than selling shoes. Shoes was a sensible business, but creating a “wow”  customer service experience became a mission. And once Zappos took on  that mission, everyone from their suppliers to employees to customers  became missionaries for the brand.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Zappos Mission,  was their WHY.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Random thought&#8230;You never heard this from me,  But a little birdy told me,  that Simon Sinek will be speaking at the Live CarbonCopyPRO master marketing event in November at the Vinetian in Las Vegas.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">You see people buy WHY you do something.  We all make our purchasing decisions based on emotions.  We only THEN  justify our emotions with logic, like the &#8220;what&#8221; and &#8220;how&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">So my question to you up and coming entrepreneurs out there who are busy building your empires&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">what is your WHY?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Because until you can identify this, you can pinpoint it with precision accuracy and convey it in your marketing message, and wear it on your sleeve for all to see.  You will never break through to that level of success that you KNOW is possible.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I&#8217;d like to share my why with you here today.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">My Vision for myself and my business :</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">\VISION/ &#8211; To Destroy The Paradigm of what is possible in the home  business industry. To  empower entrepreneurs with the tools, strategies,  and training required to effectively leverage technology to explode any  business using the power of the internet. Allowing them to live their &#8220;dream&#8221; lifestyle.</p>
<p>My WHY,  is to empower other entrepreneurs.  Now you see the power in that? By the way that was empower, not enable <img src='http://www.best-home-business-model.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif' alt=':P' class='wp-smiley' /> .</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Other leaders,  other passionate motivated individuals like myself who resonate with that message, They will be the ones to come on board,  to help me pursue and embark on that same mission.  Realistically, those people are the only individuals I ever want to work with anyway&#8230;.</p>

<p><!-- DO NOT MODIFY -->so Today I want to share the seven must-read life lessons That I compiled from Jim  Rohn.</p>
<p><strong>Jim Rohn</strong> was an American entrepreneur, author and motivational  speaker. He’s been an inspiration to many leaders in the personal  development field including Tony Robbins, Mark Hansen, Brian Tracy and  Jack Canfield.</p>
<p>When Jim was 25 his life was in a rut, he was in debt, and he was  uncertain as to how he would get out. During this time in his life he  met John Shaoff. Jim joined John’s direct sales organization and began  to work on his personal development. By age 31, Jim was a millionaire.</p>
<p>Jim has addressed over 6,000 audiences and 4 million people  worldwide. He was the recipient of the 1985 National Speakers  Association CPAE Award. Jim is also the author of 17 different books,  audio and video programs.</p>
<h1><strong>7 Life Lessons from Jim Rohn:</strong></h1>
<p><strong>1. You Attract Success</strong></p>
<p><em>“Success is not to be pursued; it is to be attracted by the  person you become.”</em></p>
<p>So few people realize this.  Success is not something that you chase,  it’s something that you turn into.  Success comes from growth; it comes  from growing bigger than the problems and obstacles that surround you.</p>
<p>Don’t search for success – commit to grow, commit to become, commit  to do what you know to do, and you will attract success.</p>
<p><strong>2. You Must Change</strong></p>
<p><em>“Work harder on yourself than you do on your job.”</em></p>
<p>If you want change, you must change!  You must work harder on  yourself than you work on anything else.  The greatest investment you  will ever make is in yourself.  Don’t invest in the stock market, if you  haven’t first invested in yourself.  Labor to become a better person;  everyday you want to be slightly better than you were the day before.</p>
<p><strong>3. Never Give Up</strong></p>
<p><em>“How long should you try? Until.”</em></p>
<p>Never give up.  If you just keep at it, eventually you will reach the  top.  It probably won’t happen in a year, but just imagine what could  be achieved if you stayed focused for 20 or 30 years, or longer.  When I  say never give up, I don’t mean to imply that you should wait around  for something to happen; what I’m saying is that you should make  something happen.</p>
<p>Success is not that complicated.  I like what Jim said, “Success is  neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of  consistently applying the basic fundamentals.”</p>
<p><strong> </strong><strong>4.  Atmosphere is Critical</strong></p>
<p><em>“You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I  around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What  have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have  me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask  yourself the big question: Is that okay? Your life does not get better  by chance, it gets better by change.”</em></p>
<p>Who are you talking to?  Who are you listening to?  What seeds are  being planted into your life?  Atmosphere is critical!  In order for  your life to produce fruit, it must be planted in the right atmosphere.   You wouldn’t try to plant tomato seeds in the dessert because it’s not  the right atmosphere for a tomato seed to produce.  Likewise, don’t try  to become successful surrounded by negative people.  Create an  atmosphere where you can flourish.  Learn to guard what you hear; guard  what gets planted in your thoughts, so you can become all that you were  destined to become.</p>
<p><strong>5.  Steady Progress</strong></p>
<p><em>“Success is steady progress toward one’s personal goals”</em></p>
<p>My mother use to say, “Slowly but surely.”  That’s exactly how your  dreams come to pass when you commit to achieve them.  Nothing happens  overnight, look at anyone who’s successful.  It’s taken them years to  get there, sometimes decades, don’t think you are any different.  If it  took them years, don’t be surprised when it takes you years.  In other  words, manage your expectations, so you don’t get disappointed  unnecessarily.  Success is possible, but it won’t happen tomorrow, if  you just began today.</p>
<p>Remember, success is not a single event; you don’t become a success  in a moment.  Success comes from moving in the right direction every  day.</p>
<p><strong>6. Set Your Sail</strong></p>
<p><em>“It is the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind that  determines which way we will go.”</em></p>
<p>Set your sail, or set your mind on what you want to accomplish.  It’s  not the circumstances of life that determine where you end up, it’s  your commitment to arrive at your intended destination that determines  your success.</p>
<p><strong>7. Learn to See the  Value of Time</strong></p>
<p><em>“Time is more valuable than money. You can always get more money,  but you cannot ever get more time.”</em></p>
<p>There is nothing more valuable than time.  You can sow your time and  get anything you want.  You can sow your time and get more friends, more  money, or better health.  Nothing is more priceless than time, so never  waste this precious gift.  I’ve never met a rich man who didn’t value  his time, and I’ve never met a poor man who did.</p>
<p>Learn to see the value of time because with time, anything can be  accomplished!</p>

<p>Without Proper tracking and data, its next to impossible to effectively scale a campaign.  You MUST test, and track in order to have an effective PROFITABLE PPC Campaign period. otherwise its like shooting in the dark.</p>
<p>So here is how I&#8217;ve done just that. Put  some effective conversion tracking in place on the Yahoo Search Marketing for your campaigns, and watch start to scale your business today!</p>
<h2><strong>Yahoo PPC Campaign Ad Tracking In Google Analytics</strong></h2>
<p>1. Create a custom tracking URL using <a href="http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&amp;answer=55578" target="_blank">Google&#8217;s  URL Builder</a>:</p>
<p>Follow the instructions on screen and you should produce something  like this URL string or similar:</p>
<p><a title="http://www.yourdomain.com/?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term=keyword&amp;utm_campaign=Yahoo+CPC+Campaign" href="http://www.yourdomain.com/?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term=keyword&amp;utm_campaign=Yahoo+CPC+Campaign">http://www.yourdomain.com/?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term=keyw&#8230;</a></p>
<p>The &#8220;Yahoo+CPC+Campaign&#8221; can be anything you like which describes  this CPC campaign.</p>
<p>2. Replace the parameter “keyword&#8221; with a placeholder which Yahoo  will populate when they generate an ad to display. In Step 2 of Google’s  instructions, in the box labelled “Campaign Term” enter <strong>{OVKey</strong><strong>}</strong>.   This should produce a revised URL something like this:</p>
<p>http://www.yourdomain.com/tracking?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term={OVKEY}&amp;utm_content={OVADID}&amp;utm_campaign={OVCAMPGID}</p>
<p>Or for a deep URL, something like this:</p>
<p>http://www.yourdomain.com/yourpagename.html/tracking?utm_source=yahoo&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_term={OVKEY}&amp;utm_content={OVADID}&amp;utm_campaign={OVCAMPGID}</p>
<p>For more help on Tracking URLs see <a href="http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/ysm/sps/screenref/16897.html" target="_blank">Yahoo’s  help page</a>.</p>
<p>3. In the Yahoo campaign manager, enter this URL as the tracking URL  for the campaign.</p>
<p>You must first turn off Ad Tracking in Yahoo.  You may find this is  the default setting anyway, but it is worth checking.</p>
<p>Do this by clicking on the “Administration Tab” and then clicking on  “Tracking URLs” from the sub-menu.  On the next page – click on the  radio button to turn tracking URLS off.  If you do not do this then  Yahoo will append its standard tracking terminology it uses for its PPC  platform and Google Analytics will not report on your Yahoo PPC traffic  at a keyword level.</p>
<p>Now you can add your own Google Analytics friendly tracking URLs.</p>
<p>Clearly you do not want to add this URL for every keyword – so the  best way to do this to change the “Destination URL” at the Ad Group  Level.</p>
<p>Select the “Ad Group” tab and then click on your ad group.</p>
<p>This takes you to the “Ads Tab”.  Now click on “Ad Name” from your  list of adverts.  You then get a screen which lists; “Title”, “Short  Description”, “Long Description”, “Display URL” and “Custom URL” – paste  the long URL into the “Custom URL” box and click save.</p>
<p>Now repeat this for every Ad Group.  If someone knows an even quicker  way of doing this please feel free to post it here!</p>
<p>Wait for a day or so; and then check your Google Analytics reports to  see whether you are now seeing paid search engine traffic from Yahoo.   You should be able to clearly distinguish and drill down into paid vs  no-paid traffic from all search engines and have a list of sources  something like this:</p>
<p>yahoo / cpc</p>
<p>yahoo / organic</p>
<p>Bing / CPC</p>
<p>Bing / organic</p>
<p>google / cpc</p>
<p>google / organic</p>
<p>Take This info and Put it to work!</p>
<p>Knowledge is only potential power,  go use it!</p>

This is such a  common trait to have that most don’t even recognize it’s destruction. It  comes as naturally as watching TV after work to them. It comes as  naturally as looking forward to clocking out when the clock hits  5′o’clock as surely everyone else does right? This 1 thing will prevent  them from ever changing their financial situation. This blog is going to  expose this 1 thing.</p>
<p><strong>How you view the rich will dictate if you are ever to become  one of them</strong></p>
<p>When you read a story about someone that is rich, do you immediately  look for reasons to not like them? Do you declare to others that is was  luck or that their fortune was gained through some devious act or set of  acts? <strong>If you naturally focus on what negative you can find  about a rich person, you will never become one.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Poor mindsets cannot fathom that simple hard work could make  someone rich</strong></p>
<p>Here are some sample statements that poor  mindsets state that will keep them where they are:</p>
<p><em>“He/she’s just lucky”</em></p>
<p><em>“Oh sure, anyone could do that if they  had his/her upbringing”</em></p>
<p><em>“Yeah, wonder what he/she did to get  there though”</em></p>
<p><em>“I just think there’s more to life than  just money”</em></p>
<p>The same people that make these statements  would plop $49.97 down for a “How to get rich quick” book. As long as  you see negativity in those that are doing well, you will never do well  financially. As long as you separate yourself from them, you will <strong>continue  to create that gap</strong>. ****For more on this topic, read Ayn  Rand’s <em>Atlas Shrugged</em> (also happens to be my favorite book)</p>
<p><strong>The poor mindset can never believe  that someone ACTUALLY deserves to be rich.</strong> That is  incomprehensible to them. Now, subconsciously, this causes irreparable  damage. Think about it, if someone despises the rich, will that ever  compel them to become rich? For every excuse the poor mindset can  generate, there has been a person worse off that has done better. There  has been a person that has done more with less. But, the poor mindset  again, simply cannot fathom that hard work can make someone rich. That  is why the poor stay poor.</p>

<p>Understand that SOME people have worked very hard and deserve to be  rich, however, it is a waste of energy and effort to spend time  determining if they deserve it or not. If someone has something you  desire and currently do not have, have gratitude for them, be thankful  that someone is doing good. This is a great strategy if you currently  don’t have a lot of things to be grateful for.</p>
<h2>Study them</h2>
<p>Find out what they did to become rich…and do it. In every success you  will find they had lots of failures in their past, they just kept  going. You won’t find an extraordinary amount of excessive talent but  you will find a certain attitude. The attitude that they are going to  succeed no matter what. The knowledge that poor mindsets around them  will tell them they can’t do it, but they do it anyway. My good friend  Robert sent me this video below that I really, really like. 		<title>New Facebook Comments For WordPress&#8230;</title>

Why did I delete all of my comments for years that I had on my blog?
Well, it is not really deleted. It is deleted off the blog, or no  longer showing.
Instead, I have now decided to use a new FACEBOOK comments as my blog  comments.
Why did I do this?

<p>Why did I delete all of my comments for years that I had on my blog?</p>
<p>Well, it is not really deleted. It is deleted off the blog, or no  longer showing.</p>
<p>Instead, I have now decided to use a new FACEBOOK comments as my blog  comments.</p>
<p>Why did I do this?</p>
<p>DUH….</p>
<p>#1 – Almost all of my site visitors are already logged into Facebook  and with their new “Social Graph” API’s like the “Like” button you are  now seeing on every page on the Internet (including mine here) they will  see their face asking them to post on my blog as comment. If they are  NOT logged in the can log in to Facebook without having to leave the  page.</p>
<p>#2 – It will get more people posting feedback and leaving comments.  People like the fact that it is part of their 1 universal Facebook  account. You can see it working at here at <a href="http://money.cnn.com/2010/07/15/news/economy/Wall_Street_reform_bill_vote/index.htm?postversion=2010071517" target="_blank">CNN.</a></p>
<p>#3 – It looks better and fall into more of a social media vibe.</p>
<p>#4 – Blog comments are soooooo 2010. (Oh well if you are on the  Internet you know anything you do today is outdated.)</p>
<p>#5 – It PRE CHECKS  ”Post comment on my Facebook profile.” as you see  here</p>

<p>What does that mean?</p>
<p>Well, that means the best form of Viral Marketing called SMVM “coined  here” or (Social Media Viram Marketing). Actually Social Media and  Viral Marketing are one in the same now days.</p>
<p>But back to the checkbox. Every time someone posts it gets added to  their profile and their updates. All people that are connected to this  person will get a link to my blog and then learn about my post (and my  site) as well as post them selves and there starts a viral storm of  interested social traffic.</p>
<p>There you have it.</p>
<p>Why on earth would I use anything else.</p>
<p>Oh.. reason #6 – It just kicks ass!</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The No Excuses Summit was a ground breaking event for the Home Business Industry.  This was the first time ever that we have had so many great speakers in one place at one time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently,  I spent a fair about of time studying a thief that I’m sure we are all  familiar with,<a href="http://www.best-home-business-model.com/wp-content/uploads/thief.png"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-1094" title="thief" src="http://www.best-home-business-model.com/wp-content/uploads/thief-300x266.png" alt="" width="300" height="266" /></a> procrastination.  I knew I’d get around to it one day.  [Canned laughter... It's a tough crowd.]  What I’ve discovered through  some serious introspection is it seems to be a topic just about everyone  understands.   Seems to me whenever the topic is brought up, everyone  always nods their head and says, “Ya ya, I know, I know.”  But do they  really.  I think most recognize that procrastination exists, but have a  hard time conquering it.  Every January people from all over the world  make resolutions to change something in their lives.  Most of these  resolutions fall by the wayside fairly quickly.  But people know they  should modify their behavior but have a hard time doing it.</p>
<p>When it comes to building businesses online there is a lot to learn.   Even if you do have experience, things change quite quickly.  You need  to be learning constantly.  Additionally, you have to become a business  specialist.  You have to contend with taxes, bookkeeping, affiliates,  vendors, advertising, fulfillment, traffic, lead generation, etc.  If  you are a procrastinator, you’ll be eaten alive.  You may as well simply  donate your time to some civic group.  You at least have something to  show for it.</p>
<p>As I mentioned earlier, most people recognize procrastination.  They  know that they can’t blame others and are responsible for their own  actions. They understand that they have to be goal orientated.  They  understand that even bad action is better than no action and that they  need to break bad habits that rob time.  But there is one that is a  little bit harder to recognize.  That is that the time you spend at your  computer had better be productive and directly responsible to creating  income.  That’s the bottom line.  Checking your email 15 times a day,  perusing over to your Facebook Page, or your Twitter account and  following links to who know where and generally, spending time on your  computer unproductively is a type of procrastination.  There are many  ways to rationalize this practice but holding it up to the test of  creating income for your business is the litmus test.</p>
<p>There certainly are strategies of using social media, but just make  sure you schedule your time for that action.  If it is taking more time  than you allocated, make sure you are receiving a measurable and  tangible benefit.</p>
<p>Now I want to throw a caveat on all of this and it’s that you should  concentrate your time on money generating activities and automate or  outsource the rest.  For some, the money making activity might be  networking with people by calling them up.  For those who are  technically savvy, web creation may be their ticket so to speak. For  some it may be copy writing.</p>
<p>So in closing I ask you examine some of the things you may be  procrastinating with and try and uncover the root cause, make some  resolutions and find ways to combat the thief, and your bank account  will love you for it.</p>

<p>I have an important question for you before get knee deep into some  free traffic fun . . .</p>
<p><em><strong>“Is seven minutes worth $1,685.77 in free traffic to  you?”</strong></em></p>
<p>Now the answer to  this question is important because <em>if</em> your answer is <strong>YES</strong>,  then I’ll make you two  promises:</p>
<p>1. Focusing in and paying attention to what follows will take you no  longer than 7 minutes</p>
<p>2. I’ll show you exactly how to, in less than 7 minutes, get up to  $1,685.77 or more in free traffic.</p>
<p><em><strong>You game?</strong></em> Good! <em>Let’s roll . . .</em></p>
<p>THE first questions I  get asked when I talk to someone new to marketing is “<em>What’s the  best way to get a TON of free traffic.</em>”</p>
<p>Now <em>personally</em>, I don’t  like this question.</p>
<p>To me, it’s like asking me “<em>How can I be an absolute cheapskate  and make money?</em>”</p>

<p>That mentality doesn’t fly  with me.  Because it’s a mental position is completely<strong> juxtaposed</strong> to building a million dollar (<em>or more</em>)  online business. It’s a <em>hobbyist</em> mentality that rarely leads to  positive returns.&nbsp; I just suggest you let go of the search for the  perfect way to get rich for free. It’s a waste of time, <em>but . . .</em></p>
<p>With that said, there absolutely is<strong> </strong>a “<strong>BEST</strong>” free  traffic generation strategy, in my opinion, and <em>that’s what I’m here  for today . . . </em></p>
<p>Pound for pound, <strong>from my own stats</strong>, the traffic you  will garner, and the leads you will generate, from what follows tends to <strong>convert  2.5 times</strong> more into recruits and profits than more complicated  paid strategies. Here,<em> let me show you what I mean:</em></p>

<p><strong>“How To Turn Free Articles Into Mortgage Payments”</strong></p>
<p>The evergreen, tried  and true, strategy of article marketing is by <strong>FAR</strong> the most profitable long term  strategy for generating, not only cash in the bank, but leads – quite  literally, for life.</p>
<p>There are articles that I wrote back in <strong>2005</strong> that  are still paying my bills  today.</p>
<p>Nothing is better than “<strong>set it and forget it marketing,</strong>”  and distributing free content is the goose that keeps on laying the  golden egg, if . . . You do it right (<em>or kinda right</em>).</p>

<p>What I mean is, I started using free content back in 2005, and what  you’re seeing below are <strong>my statistics to date from a batch of  779 articles </strong>I’ve distributed to just one article directory.</p>

<p>Since then these articles have been <strong>viewed 397,000+</strong> times and I’ve generated <strong>14,050 visitors </strong>for free from  this one location during that time. And the thing is, I didn’t even do that good of a job.  Check out the <em>click through rate 3.7%</em> – leaves much to be  desired.</p>
<p>Still, that’s a <strong>LOT</strong> of visitors for free. Let’s put  that 14,050 visitors (clicks) into perspective.</p>
<p>Playing by the same rules, you’ll see below the stats for one of my <strong>adwords  accounts</strong> since its inception.</p>

<p>You’ll see I <strong>spent a lot </strong>(<em>I made a LOT more than  I spent, but that’s a discussion for another day</em>). What I want you  to focus on is the  fact that, <em>on average</em>, I paid about <strong>$0.38</strong> per  click over this account’s history. <em>So . . .</em></p>
<p>If pay per click traffic and article traffic were equal, per click,  in value, which they’re not (<em>I’ll explain in a minute why</em>) that  14,050 visitors would be like getting <strong>$5,339 in free  advertising</strong>, that’s still churning out clicks to this very day.  <em>That ain’t bad right? </em></p>
<p>Do you see the value of what I’m talking about? If so, let me take a  step back and tell you the basics of . . .</p>
<p><strong>How Article Marketing Free Traffic Works</strong></p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> You <strong>create</strong> some content that  your target market might like to read in article format (you don’t even  have to write and we’ll get to that).</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong>You <strong>submit</strong> it to article  directories online.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> You <strong>attach</strong> a resource box to the article  where you can display a link to your landing page (see below):</p>

<p><em>Pretty simple right?</em></p>
<p>Now that we understand the basics, let me share with you <strong>WHY</strong> this process is so powerful.</p>
<p><strong>First</strong><strong>:</strong><em><strong> </strong></em><strong>You don’t pay a dime and you </strong><strong>don’t  even need a website. </strong></p>
<p>You simply submit your content to article directories, and <em>they  win</em> because they take your content and get more search engine  traffic for it, and more money from their on site advertising.</p>
<p><em>You win, </em>because those who read your article (<em>if you do a  few things right we’ll talk about</em>) will click your link in your  resource box, visit your site, and become your lead.</p>
<p><strong>Second:  You’ve got THREE unique ways to generate traffic and leads with this  method. </strong></p>
<p>You’re going to get <strong>internal traffic</strong> from people  searching within the article directory who find your article.</p>
<p>You’re going to have other website publishers find your content, like it, and then  publish it on their site. Your article is going to propagate the  internet <strong>virally</strong>.</p>
<p>Finally, if you follow a few steps you stand to get a <strong>TON of  free traffic for years from the search engines</strong>.</p>

<p>It’s not that hard to do the same, and we’ll get to how as you  continue to follow along . . .</p>
<p><strong>How To Arbitrage Your Way To Massive Free Traffic</strong></p>
<p>It might surprise you, but I didn’t even write the articles above to  reap the rewards. It’s true.</p>
<p>In fact, my most traffic getting articles, are <strong>some of the  worse written and I didn’t write them</strong>. I paid some one less than $6  each and then just popped them out on the net. As Ron LeGrand would say,  “<em>the less I do, the more I make</em>” and when it comes to article  marketing it’s true . . .</p>
<p><em><strong>Here’s the secret to paying someone else to write content  for you so you always make money. </strong></em></p>
<p><em>Let’s take my stats as example . . . </em></p>
<p><strong>14,000 clicks and 700 articles</strong> (<em>numbers dumbed  down to make the math easy on me</em>).</p>
<p>That means that for each article I get about 20 clicks. Twenty clicks paying $0.40 per  click (<em>as I would with pay per click</em>) means each article, on  average, is <strong>worth about $8</strong>.</p>
<p><em>As long as I</em> pay  less than $8 per article I’ll end up making a <strong>better  financial decision</strong>, long term, in choosing to pay to have  someone write articles for me than I would using that money for pay per  click marketing. <em>Make sense?</em></p>
<p>If I pay $6, for example for an article, and I get 20 clicks on  average from it, then I’m getting clicks at $0.30 instead of if I would  $0.38 in pay per click marketing.</p>

<p>I bet you <em>never though</em>t about hiring an article writer that  way before have you? Well, again, that’s what I’m here for:)</p>
<p><strong>Let’s Stack The Odds In Our Favor For Getting Even More Free  Traffic From Our Articles</strong></p>
<p>At first, I had no idea how to do article marketing correctly, and as  a result, as I showed you before, I was getting very few people to  click through my link in my resource box.</p>
<p>Over time I’ve gotten a lot better. My recent articles get up to a <strong>60.3%  click through rate </strong>with decent traffic.</p>

<p><strong>4 Rules For Doubling Free Traffic From Your Articles:</strong></p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> <em>In general</em>, keep your content <strong>short</strong> – less than 400 words.  People have a short attention span so help them out.</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong>Use the <strong>Problem-Agitate-Solve</strong> formula. Start your articles with a problem, make it worse as they read  your article, and then solve it, but . . . solve it incompletely so your  reader feels an intense urge  to get more information from you.</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong><em>At the bottom of your article</em>, tell your  reader to read your resource box and click the link in.</p>

<p>Now they’ve got a partial solution, they want more, you tell them the solution is through  clicking the link in your resource box, and they will.</p>
<p>The funny thing about people is, they follow directions well. But if  left to their own devices, they don’t do much of anything, so <strong>give  them something to do.</strong></p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Write  your article to people, not to the search engines. I’ve found  that in the content that I’ve done this in, I tend to have a drastically  higher click through rate.</p>
<p>If you follow the advice above you should <strong>more than double</strong> the number of people clicking your resource box links from stats and  tests. Give it a shot <em>in a few</em>, I’m not quite done with you yet  . . .</p>
<p><strong>Why Free Content Traffic Is 2.5 Times More Valuable Than Pay  Per Click Traffic</strong></p>
<p><em>Remember, we’re stacking the deck in our favor right? </em></p>
<p>If at a bare minimum, each article on average gets you 20 clicks  without the strategies we just covered, well, with them you’re going get  at least 40 clicks. <em>In other words</em>, for every article you  submit from this point forward<strong> you can send me half the  difference – $4</strong> to info[at]daegansmith.com via paypal. I’m all about win-wins.</p>
<p><em>Let me stack the deck even further in your favor . . .</em></p>
<p>Article traffic is just  flat out better than PPC traffic on average. The reason is,  you’re developing a relationship with your prospect <strong>BEFORE</strong> they take an action to move towards you.</p>
<p><em>In other words</em>, if I read an article by you, and I like it,  I’m “<strong>focusing</strong>” my full attention on reading your genius  words and at the end I want more of what you’ve got, so . . .</p>
<p>I personally decide to click your link in your resource box and  decide to get on your list.</p>
<p>I’ve just done a lot of thinking before becoming your lead, and  because of that, I’ve just increased my value to you (<em>How responsive  a lead is is determined by what’s going on in their mind, not how much  you pay</em>).</p>
<p>It might seem <em><strong>counter intuitive</strong></em>, but the more hoops a person has to  jump through to get to you, the better quality of a lead they become.</p>
<p>3 minutes reading an articles is far more work for your prospects  than just <em>willy nilly</em> clicking on a pay per click ad.</p>
<p>Further, if a lead reads something from you, then opts into your lead  capture page, and then gets emails from you, he or she is already used  to your way of communication via text.</p>
<p>I’ve also found that<strong> leads derived from articles tend to  remain active on your list longer</strong> (on average) than more  expensive pay per click leads, and that again, increases their value.</p>
<p>If an article lead is worth 2.5 times a pay per click lead, then it<strong> logically follows</strong> that each click derived from article  marketing is worth 2.5 times as much, so . .</p>
<p>If you’re paying $6 to get an article written and on average you’re  getting 40 clicks now with our conversion updates, and we were equating  those clicks to being worth $0.38 (<em>like a pay per click site view</em>)  we see that, really, those clicks are <strong>worth way more</strong> –  Closer to a $1 each.</p>
<p>Now, all of sudden, as we look at things a little closer we see that each of those $6 articles is worth  close to $40, <strong>that’s HUGE</strong> value (<em>just don’t  ever tell the guy you hire to write this stuff for you that though . . .</em>)</p>
<p>Keep reading because it gets even better . . .</p>
<p><strong>4 Steps To Stealing Free Traffic From The Search Engines With  Your Content</strong></p>

<p><strong>Step One:  Use The Google Keyword Tool To Find Keywords That Are Ripe For The  Picking</strong></p>
<p>What you do is you head over to the Google Keyword tool and search  out a keyword you’d like to write an article on. Copy and paste the  listings to a text editor.</p>

<p>You take the list of keywords you’ve copied and pasted, and then you  go back to Google and do searches for them.</p>
<p>If you find the top 5 listings <strong>don’t</strong> have good SEO  put an asterisk* next to it. (<em>What I mean by bad SEO is the there  does not appear to be any good on page optimization for the keyword. The  keyword isn’t in the title tag, the page isn’t named for the keyword,  and you don’t see the keyword that many times in the text itself</em>)</p>
<p><strong>Step Three:  Get Excited Because You’re About To Get Some Easy Extra Free Traffic</strong></p>
<p>Take the keywords that you found that, within Google, there were not many sites with good SEO  for and start writing.</p>
<p><strong>Step Four:  Write And Then Submit Your Articles As Follows</strong></p>
<p>Make sure you use the keyword in your articles in the following key  places:</p>
<p><strong>1. In The Headline For Article (at the beginning)</strong><br /> 2. Once Per Paragraph In Your Article<br /> <strong>3. Bold The Keyword A Few Times In The Body</strong><br /> 4. Have One Link Hypertexted With Your Keyword</p>

<p>I’ve submitted a <strong>LOT</strong> of articles, and if there’s one  truth that supersedes them all, it’s that articles is a game of  percentages.</p>
<p>Barry Bonds didn’t  hit the ball out of the park 100% of the time. <strong>He hit the ball  exactly 29.8% of the  time.</strong></p>
<p>From my stats, you’re looking at about the same odds with your  articles. You’re not going to  get all of your articles to the top of the search engines for  massive traffic home runs, <strong>but sometimes you will</strong>.</p>
<p>The way you <strong>increase your odds</strong> is by playing free  content marketing as a volume game.</p>
<p>The more content you submit, the higher the chance you’re going to  start getting your stuff to the top of the search engines.</p>
<p><strong>The Golden Rule</strong>: Submit A LOT Of Articles To Win</p>
<p>And that brings up one more thing . . .</p>
<p>Don’t just submit a lot of articles, submit them to a LOT of article directories.</p>
<p><strong>Wait!</strong> I know what’s screaming at you in your head  right now “<em>What about the duplicate content penalty Daegan?</em>”</p>
<p><strong>My answer: </strong>Who  cares.</p>

<p>New marketers tend to concern themselves with things that don’t matter and the phantom  ghost of duplicate content is one of those things.</p>
<p>I’ve been to many a news site that have the exact same article. <em>Do  they care about duplicate content?</em> Neither do I and neither should you.</p>
<p><em><strong>Here’s why . . .</strong></em></p>
<p>If you can’t quantify how something will effect you, then <strong>don’t  worry about it</strong>. I, to this day, have not been able to see any  negative effects from submitting the exact same article content to  multiple article directories.</p>
<p>The benefits<strong> greatly</strong> outweigh whatever <em>ghostly</em> negatives there may be.</p>
<p>As I see it, as long as you put your article – first in the place  you’re likely to get most traffic, you’re good to go.</p>
<p>By submitting your article elsewhere the only thing you do is  increase the overall long term traffic yield – and that’s a good thing  in my book. Again, increasing the value of each individual article we  produce.</p>
<p><strong>Here’s how:</strong></p>
<p><strong>1. </strong>You’ll get <strong>traffic internally</strong> from multiple places</p>
<p><strong>2. </strong>You’ll have more places for website publishers to republish your content  on their sites (i.e. even more traffic)</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong>You <em>may even</em> get that article ranked in  the search engines <strong>more than once</strong> like this . . .</p>
<p>So I ask you,<em> where’s the phantom ghost of duplicate content?</em> I don’t see him.</p>
<p><strong>Let’s do a quick final tally for how much our articles are  really worth . . .</strong></p>
<p>We left off at $40 each conservatively, well, with <strong>multiple  directory submission</strong> and simple search engine optimization (<em>which can  increase your traffic by a factor of 20X or WAY more</em>) I’d wager to  say we can add at least a 30% premium on things. That’s at least $52 per  article. <em>More than you thought right?</em></p>
<p>By my stats, in fact, my top producing article, an article I didn’t  write, has produced to date 1,365 clicks.</p>
<p><strong>Here’s The Math Equation For Getting $1,685.77 In Free  Traffic For 7 Minutes Of Effort</strong>:</p>
<p>1,365 clicks X $0.38 (price of a PPC click) X 2.5 (true value of an  article click) X 30% (search engine traffic + multiple directory  submission bonus) = <strong>$1,685.77</strong> in free traffic from  spending 7 minutes submitting one article I paid $6 to have written</p>
<p>(<em>Man, I’m selling myself on content marketing, so let’s end this  so I can get to it.</em>)</p>
<p><strong>Here’s A Few Ideas For Churning Out Articles Without Writing</strong></p>
<p>Now, before we close out,<em> let me say this . . .</em></p>
<p>Even though you can reap huge  rewards from content marketing without writing, I personally  think writing your own content is always better. With that being said,  you don’t have to. Here’s a few ways get by the <strong>lazy</strong> way:</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> Do as I’ve done and hire outsourced writers to do  the work for you.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> Record yourself on a hand held voice recorder and  have the content transcribed.</p>
<p><strong>3. </strong>Take all recorded interview or audio content you  have and have it transcribed.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Take all video content and have it transcribed.</p>
<p><strong>NOTE:</strong> For #3 and #4 you can even do this with  content you didn’t originally produce. Now, you can’t use that  transcribed content verbatim, but you can re-organize it and put it into  your own words. Now that content is yours as well (unless copyrighted  of course).</p>
<p>I’m done. After looking this over, I’m thinking I should’ve charged  for this, but I’m ok with giving this to you for free on two conditions:</p>
